Why I Love Grebes
I have been fascinated by the grebe family ever since I started carving full time in 1979. Whenever I saw a grebe at a carving show I would take pictures and my wife would ask, “When are you going to carve one of those cute little birds?” I kept putting it off because I was carving for a livelihood and didn’t believe I could ever sell a grebe.
